Steinhardt's Guide to the Eldritch Hunt Update
12 months ago – Wed, Apr 02, 2025 at 12:10:53 AM

Greetings, Hunters!

The eldritch curse has been lifted, and your grimoires are finally making their way across the globe!

Shipping has officially begun worldwide (well, almost—South America, you’re up next, and it shouldn’t be long now, especially since Canada’s already started getting their hands on the goods).

The hunt is truly underway, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to see it all coming together.

A Quick Note for US Backers

If you’re in the US and snagged an All-in Tier or Add-ons, heads-up: your order might arrive in two packages.

This is true for most orders with Deluxe Box + something extra. Add-ons will trail a bit behind.

No need to worry, it’s all normal!

The fulfillment house decided to split things up because of the wall hanging and map’s awkward dimensions. So, if you haven’t gotten all your add-ons, don’t panic, good hunter—the rest is creeping your way soon.

I was not made aware of that fact by the fulfilment company, until 40 people reached to support with the same issue, and I hopped on a desperate phone call.

It's all good, no need to panic, some of those people have now received their 2nd half of the order, confirming what the fulfilment house told me. (Yes I'd rather double check after the things I went through last couple of months, if you've read the updates, you know what I'm talking about).

If you want to confirm this yourself, in your initial tracking email  you should see a mention that the shipment might come in multiple parts.

Damaged Orders? We’ve Got You Covered

A few of you (mostly in the US) reached out about orders arriving a little worse for wear—thanks, USPS, FedEx, and pals, for treating our precious tomes like dodgeballs.

If your order took a bad beating, hit us up at [email protected] with images of the damage and we’ll get a replacement sorted.

No Tracking Number?

I know some of you are itching for those tracking numbers—trust me, I feel you. With over 10k orders to wrangle, it’s a bit of a beast to get through.

The fulfillments centers assured me they are hard at work, but that it might take a little time before covering everyone.

Rest assured, your package is on its way.

Loving the Pictures

I’ve been lurking on the Discord, and holy horrors, you all are amazing! The pics you’re sharing of your hauls are lighting up my day—seriously, it warms my heart to see you enjoying the content. Keep ‘em coming, your reactions are fuel for this weary creator.

I even received private messages congratulating me on the product, genuinely heart-warming moments.

Thank you so much!

What’s Next

After this update, I’m going to go quiet for a bit—got some other parts of the business screaming for attention.

Once I'm sure we have enough stock to cover the exchanges, I'll look into putting the physical products for sale on my website.

I'll let you know here when that happens.

Support will stay open of course, and I’ll be lurking in the Discord, so you might catch me there.

Don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything.

Take care!

Steinhardt's — Finally some dates
about 1 year ago – Sun, Mar 16, 2025 at 11:46:43 PM

Hello good hunter, let's dive un.

Shipping Updates

Here’s the latest on getting Steinhardt’s Guide to the Eldritch Hunt into your hands:

  • US / Canada / South America: Shipping is slated to kick off this Wednesday. A quick heads-up, though—the US fulfillment center is the same one that told me to "trust the process" and promised a timeline by last week’s end, but I only got it confirmed yesterday after hounding them repeatedly. I’ve paid them, so now it’s a daily game of pressuring and pestering until they deliver. I consider their estimate a loose one for now.
  • UK / EU: Shipping expected to start Friday.
  • Asia: I’m still waiting on confirmation, which I should have by the end of today.
  • AUS / NZ: Great news here—most shipping is already done! Only a few folks in super remote areas are still waiting. Our friends down under even sent us some awesome pics of Steinhardt’s in the wild!

Have a look:

And for the curious, here’s what a single pallet of boxes looks like at the US warehouse:

Tracking Numbers – Be Careful!

Scammers are out there, and I’ve heard some of you telling me of phishing emails posing as shipping companies like FedEx. Here’s who you’ll actually get tracking numbers from:

  • US: Flying Cloud
  • UK / EU: GameQuest or ShipQuest
  • Asia: VFI

If it’s from anyone else, be skeptical. Always double-check the sender’s actual email address (not just the display name), and don’t click links directly—copy and paste them instead to stay safe.

Heresy of Steel Adventure

The Heresy of Steel adventure just got a big update with the Shattered Ruby!

Dive into the Ruby District, where terror and horror reign supreme, and watch the chaos unfold. Your choices matter—side with the Church, the Scions, or the Forsaken, and see where it leads.

The latest addition? A massive faction fight that could end with the whole city being annihilated. Yep, the first possible ending is live, and it’s a bad one—but in a fun way, of course!

Hired some cool new artists too!

We’re committed to making this adventure as GM-friendly as possible—because no GM, no D&D. Here’s what’s in the works:

  • A Faction Tracker app to keep tabs on the affiliations of the party (rather than the Spreadsheet)
  • Consolidated boss monster statblocks for quick reference
  • An encounter cheat sheet to streamline every fight
  • A flowchart to give GMs a bird’s-eye view of the adventure

Drop them in the comments—we’re all ears.

Take Care!

P.S: If you don't want to wait for these updates, and instead get information as I receive it, you can join the Discord. I'm active there, and tend to drop small messages of things as they happen. Don't expect any big updates like you see here, but rather small messages such as:

And the community there will happily answer any questions you have.

Steinhardt's: Shipping Updates + Trick Weapon Workshop 2.0
about 1 year ago – Tue, Mar 04, 2025 at 10:24:21 PM

Hello Good Hunter,

We’ve got some shipping news

Shipping Updates

Australia

Shipping has officially shipped, and it’s awesome to see so many of you already clutching your eldritch goodies!

I’ve been lurking on the Discord and loving your messages—glad you’re enjoying the product. Keep those reactions coming; they make my day!

If you haven't received yours no worries, they are on the way, make sure to check your emails for tracking codes.

USA

Oh boy, the USA situation.

We sent someone over to the fulfillment center to see what’s going on, and… yeah, it’s a beast of a shipment.

They’re renting a separate warehouse space just to unpack, label, and prep everything for shipping.

Our guy on the ground saw that they’ve got it unpacked, some packages have labels, some don’t, but when he pressed them—repeatedly—for a timeline, they hit him with the “trust the process.”

They did promise to email me with more info, so I’m twiddling my thumbs waiting for that.

I’ll let you know the second I hear anything concrete. For now, it’s a slow grind, but it’s progress… kind of. I know for sure they have the boxes and that they are stickering and prepping, I just have no idea at the speed at which it's happening.

Heads-up: the USA hub also covers Canada and South America, so this applies to you folks too.

This is "funny" because Canada just threatened to put a 25% retaliatory tariff on the USA. Normally I shouldn't pay any of that because I'm the vendor, and Romanian, but I'll let you know if I do.

Eastern World

Things are chugging along as planned now that Chinese New Year is in the rearview mirror. The shipping companies are back in action, and we expect everything to land within the timeframe we mentioned before. Smooth sailing so far—fingers crossed it stays that way!

Europe (UK and Beyond)

Good news for my fellow European hunters! Tracking codes are starting to roll out in the UK and across the continent. If you don’t see yours yet, peek in your spam folder—it might be hiding there.

Trick Weapon Workshop 2.0—It’s ALIVE!

Now, for the fun part: the Trick Weapon Workshop V2 is live, and it’s no longer just an Excel file—it’s a full-on webapp! Want to craft a dagger that flips into a scythe oozing necrotic vibes? Or maybe a pistol that morphs into a greataxe for those “I mean business” moments? This thing lets you mix, match, and unleash your wildest trick weapon fantasies.

Head over to https://monkeydm.shop/, scroll to the bottom, and click the "Trick Weapon Workshop". Forge away, hunters!

Closing Thoughts

Thanks for sticking with me as I wrestle these shipping issues.

I’ll keep you posted on the USA saga or anything else that pops up.

What is "funny" to me, I was promised the US would be the fastest to deliver, and it might well be that they will be the last. I'll certainly know that for the future.

Steinhardt's End of Feb Update
about 1 year ago – Sat, Mar 01, 2025 at 03:54:31 AM

Hello Hunters,

Quick one for the USA Fulfillment:

So to recap: Upon inspection, our fulfillment center in the USA found the shipment to be larger than anticipated. To accommodate this, they've expanded their operations to an additional warehouse floor. They needed a few extra days to transport, label, and begin shipping the orders.

That's what they told me over 2 weeks ago...

They also told me they'd begin shipping at the end of February.

Few days back, I looked and saw that virtually no tracking number was sent out.

Got on the phone with them,

I attempted to have them send out the orders with no sticker issues first, but they insisted on completing the sticker application on the deluxe boxes before any shipments.

I asked the status on that, they wouldn't give me an exact number, just that they started. I'm still arguing trying to get an exact timeline.

They received the stickers over two weeks ago, and despite multiple requests and offers to pay extra for expedited processing, the situation remains unchanged.

I'm trying to get someone directly to the center to see if I can get a more accurate view of what the f* is going on but I'm royally pissed right now.

I'll update you as soon as I know more.

P.S: Some tracking numbers did get send out, so if you got one, it's normal.

Trick Weapon Workshop Update for Steinhardt’s Guide to the Eldritch Hunt
about 1 year ago – Wed, Feb 19, 2025 at 04:29:24 PM

Hello good hunter,

I've got something special for you today—introducing the Trick Weapon Workshop, a tool to craft custom trick weapons with massive versatility!

This system allows for literally thousands of possible weapon combinations. Whether you want a blade that crackles with eldritch energy, a firearm infused with spectral precision, or something entirely unique, this workshop has you covered.

The Radiant Reaper – A Grimdark Railgun. Not part of the workshop, this is reserved for an Eldritch Crusade

Here’s how it works:

• Simple Customization – Simply select your abilities by clicking checkboxes, and the sheet will do most of the calculations for you! (There are just two abilities that require manual adjustments.)

• Flexible & Balanced – Every weapon created follows a structured point-based system, ensuring that no combination breaks the game. As the GM, you’ll just need to double-check the final cost matches the rarity to keep everything in check. (We playtested it a ton, but I'm sure someone will find a way to break it. Let me know if you do!)

• Limitations to Keep in Mind – The system doesn’t currently sort by weapon type, but you can CTRL + F to find specific weapons. Some abilities apply to all weapons or all martial weapons, so take note when customizing.

• Gold Cost – I'm releasing this for free, but the weapons aren't! I've included a detailed gold cost for each combination, which you can find on the second sheet of the workshop, and should save GMs some hassle figuring out prices. Yes some of these cost enough to buy a house.

• Future Expansions – I’ve got more abilities in a playtest document, but many still need balance testing. If you guys enjoy the workshop, I can add more to it at a later date.

• Long-Term Vision – Eventually, I’d love to turn this into a web app that provides a finalized trick weapon output, and keeps the Steinhardt's look, rather than spreadsheets, but that’s a goal for the future.

To be real with you,

To create this workshop, I had to create a spreadsheet that could determine the balance every D&D magic item, which was by far the hardest and longest part of the process.

I just want to mention it, because now that all the balancing is done, none of the is visible on the frontend, and those were days of work on spreadsheet, not the most fun time of my life I must say.

DnD clearly has a unique (and by unique I mean sometimes non-existent) way of balancing magic items.

You can check out the Trick Weapon Workshop here

(and here if you want to jump straight into building it, without reading the rules, which I don't recommend)

A Quick Word on Shipping

Everything has arrived at all the warehouses worldwide!

Currently, all regions are prepping for shipments, and we’ll provide exact start dates shortly. These should align with the timeline we mentioned in the previous update. So far, nothing of note has popped up—which is exactly what I want to hear!

I’ll keep you posted as things progress.

Take Care!
