Keep in mind that the Eldritch Carving System isn't included in the survey yet as it will receive a couple of updates later on.
Alright next up let's talk Backerkit and Shipping.
Backerkit and Shipping
Last Thursday and Friday, Backerkit charged the shipping cost (+ any extra add-ons you added on the platform) for all Kickstarter backers.
For the most part it went fine.
BUT
I know some people are having issues with banks not letting the Backerkit charge go through since the country of origin for the charge is Romania (where I live).
Try talking to your bank, explaining the charge and saying that Romania is fine, and see if they can approve it.
Some banks will refuse to let the transaction go through.
In that case you can grab a Visa gift card from Walmart or other similar cards.
If you have issues entering this card, you can contact Backerkit support for help.
Don't worry if you haven't managed to get your card to go through, Backerkit will keep attempting until I tell it to stop.
This means that you have until January to fix the situation, so there is plenty of time.
That's it for today.
Take Care!

Steinhardt's Guide: New Content Update + 1 Week Left on Backerkit
over 1 year ago
– Wed, Nov 16, 2022 at 11:01:16 PM
Hello fellow hunters,
Before I dig in the update, 2 quick things:
- There is 1 Week and 1 day left to complete your Backerkit survey.
- I have a new content update ;)
Now that I have your attention, let's dive in!
Backerkit Closing
As mentionned above we will lock-in the orders on Backerkit on the 22nd.
At this date your credit card will be charged for your shipping + VAT (if any), that sum if the sum already shown in Backerkit so no surprises there.
The pre-order store will remain open even after that date.
The reason why is that a lot of people have told me that they'd like to be able to purchase the book after Christmas, since they receive money around that time.
And honestly if you want my book as a gift, who am I to say no (it's probably not good for my ego, but who cares haha).
Seeing how things are going, I'll likely be closing the store first quarter of next year.
New Steinhardt's Content
I updated last week's content during the weekend (sneaky I know).
I added new subclasses, items, and more for you to enjoy,
I've put everything on a new link because some people have mentionned having difficulties accessing the content.
Advice & Feedback Forms:
First of all thank you for the overwhelming responses on each survey, I have gotten hundreds of replies so far, you have no idea how helpful it is for the future of the content!
10 New Previous Page of Steinhardt's Guide to the Eldritch Hunt, New Madness Table, Subclasses and more!
– Wed, Nov 09, 2022 at 05:16:42 AM
Hello fellow hunters!
Hope you are all doing well,
Content Update
I'll make this quick, I have a brand new content update for you which includes:
- Long Term Madness Table
- New Eldritch Moon: Shattered Moon
- 1 New Subclass: Monk
- 1 Race: The Accursed Tiefling
- 2 New Weapons: 1 Trick Weapon, and 1 big ol' canon.
I didn't manage to finish it today, but if you re-check the document in 24 hours, you'll discover a new subclass within it for clerics ;)
Closing Backerkit
From the Kickstarter orders, we are at 92% completion of shipping address. As such, in 2 weeks, on November 22I will lock the orders in.
This means that after this date it will become impossible for you to change your address, or add more add-ons to your order, so make you sure that you add everything you want before then!
This also means that the credit card that you added will be charged.
If the payment doesn't go through, you have one week to fix it. If you're experiencing any issues with your bank make sure to contact Backerkit support, they'll help you out!
IMPORTANT NOTE
This does not close the pre-order store, so if you know someone that wants to purchase a deluxe box for example, they still can.
Monkey Recommends: Itza’s Guide to Dragonbonding
This book was created by industry experts, former writers and artists of Wizards of the Coast, with 7 successful kickstarters under their belt; they know what they are doing!
To be fair, they are also working with Loot Tavern Publishing, the folks who helped me publish Steinhardt's, so you can be pretty certain this product is a good one.
Here are some of the fun things you can add to your games with this book:
- Learn to Ride Dragons (let's be honest we all dreamt of doing that)
- Fight brutal draconic monsters (what do you mean those flying snakes with 20 rows of teeth are trying to eat me)
- Get dragons as party members (once again, I'm sure many of us would love to do that, at least I know I would)
To make the package even more badass they decided to add minis to the deal. No need to stress about the boss reveals, sit back, relax on your chair, and let the epic minis amaze everyone at the table!
In addition, for 48 hours only, they are giving away a limited number of draconic medallions for free to any physical pledge.
(If you are on theDiscord, or follow me on YouTube, you might have already read this)
This update was delayed by a couple of days because of what should have been a side-gig, as a consultant for Kickstarters, but has been eating more time than I expected.
With the success of Steinhardt a lot of people have asked me to work with them to help promote their Kickstarter, notably in regards to facebook and email advertising.
Although this consultation job is incredibly interesting to me, I now realize that it is pulling my attention away from Steinhardt’s and my Patreon more than I should have ever allowed.
The content for the update was mostly ready on Sunday, but not at the level where I would be happy releasing it to everyone.
In this consultation job I am currently working with Dracostudios, a massive team which includes writers and artists that have worked for Wizards of the Coasts (big shots!).
I obviously do not want to disappoint them, since you know, they worked for WotC haha (I even gave them a little plug just above, since I really like the product to be fair).
That being said, I also cancelled all future consultation gigs, and will keep doing so until Steinhardt’s Guide to the Eldritch Hunt is done, and by done I mean making it the best book that it can be.
That's it for me,
Take care everyone!
Monkey out.
Osteomancy, The Vile Magic of Steinhardt's Guide to the Eldritch Hunt
over 1 year ago
– Wed, Oct 26, 2022 at 05:16:33 AM
Hello fellow hunters!
The content creation for Steinhardt's Guide is going fairly smoothly, the art is coming in, and the content is being written out at a good pace.
Today I have a treat for you:
I've been delving into Osteomancy, trying to figure out which subclass should get these powers, and which spells to include, cut or refine.
This has cumulated in this little 14 pages document here, which contains 2 new subclasses and 26 new spells.
I think from my draft I deleted and formatted out about 50% of the content, and even more might hit the cutting room floor, but for now I'll let you discover it.
As always this is an alpha document, so everything is still subject to change.
So far about 87% of you have completed the Backerkit survey, which is very good!
If you're part of 13% that hasn't completed it yet, don't forget to do so! I'd hate to take your money on the Kickstarter and not deliver you a book!
Feedback Surveys
If you've enjoy the Vile Village Adventure in the previous adventure, or have any issues with it, let me know with this handy feedback form
After trying out the Osteomancy options, let me know what you think with this feedback form.
I hope you're enjoying all the new content!
As always your feedback helps make this book the best that it can be, so thank you for taking the time to complete the surveys.
Take Care!

Important Information about Backerkit
– Wed, Oct 19, 2022 at 04:05:37 AM
Hello everyone!
Just quick update to clarify something that I failed to explain properly:
'Original Kickstarter Backers' have a survey while 'Pre-Order Backers' don't.
Pre-order backers are the ones who made a late pledge on Backerkit directly.
Pre-order backers still need to reach out to Backer Support if they want to make any adjustments to their order items, while original Kickstarter backers can make adjustments on their own using their survey.
Both sets of backers can update their shipping address on their own.
